Psychologist, Psychotherapist, Mindfulness teacher, writer

…Your ‘world’? what are you inspired by? …

I am a curious person in the sense human and intellectual and I share my interests and my curiosity. This made me discover that what intrigues me, also intrigues other people and, without really having done something intentional I was lucky enough to meet many interesting people in this one path and many people interested in what I do.

The reasons for getting closer to ‘mindfulness online’ with the interest and the determination to create a particular reality …

My primary interest was sharing. I have worked in a company for many years training in psychotherapy whose main purpose seemed to be to question the quality of people rather than their resources. For me the network was essential to get out from this vicious circle and this closed reality. Then, thank goodness, I found out I had many more qualities than I was recognized. Covid has given me a further boost to explore the virtual world. I remain however solidly anchored to the territory in which I live: I have two studios – in Chiavari and Genoa – which I have chose to keep open when many closed to stay online only. I think that presence must be safeguarded. You can do different things online – and this it’s interesting – but I hope to get back to working live, meeting people, a moving between one city and another in Italy.

Essential elements and important elements that distinguish the your job?

I am very sensitive to beauty. Not necessarily a concept beauty classic. I would say that I am sensitive to the beauty of differences. We often try to conform and yet I find great beauty in what comes out of the chorus. I find one great beauty in the signs of time, on people and objects. Find a great beauty in the casual arrangement of things in environments, in outdoor spaces, in nature. Leaves of autumn, the waves of the sea, the clouds of the sky are never the same as themselves. Because should people be equal to a norm?

Some aspects of your experience, made of preciousity and little things

Behind my work there are many hours of silence and solitude. Two conditions that often we escape and which, instead, are precious. I couldn’t be who I am without going through silence and solitude.

Is colour fundamental for?

Colour offers an immediate perceptual sensation and arouses emotions

Which you cannot give up…

All shades of blue, all shades of green

Which instead you don’t carry…

The  black

You are a fan of…(design, art, female characters)

Marina Abramovic, an artist who is herself always put into play in first person by finding a way to transform into performance experiences that we all live in the enclosure of our mind.

Your ideal customer…

I don’t have ideal clients. I meet real people that I try to respond authentically. Sometimes this produces a meeting and a real relationship. Others sometimes not but I know that I was honest.

Your real customer…

I meet people and not customers. It’s a wording I don’t like just like I don’t like the wording patients. It’s true, this is my job and there is an Exchange economic but I claim the fact that in this work I put something that goes far beyond of the economic aspect. I claim the fact that I get involved and that this must be respected but I never forget that the person in front of me is doing a harder job than mine because it puts hands, eyes, heart in difficult territories and, often, not yet sufficiently known

Projects in the next future

I always have many projects but I also always consider the possibility of not being able to carry them out. Not I never talk about it before, out of luck!

Your dream…

has always been managing my time in absolute freedom. Without deadlines, engagements appointments. I don’t mean an empty time, I mean a time when things they happen without urgency and without much planning. It is clearly a dream!

A thanks to

all the people I have met in my life. With some I have walked for long stretches. With others I only took a few steps but they all taught me something. Learning is the greatest gift in life.

What would you throw in the trash?

I have two houses and two studios. All the furniture worries me: it occupies space, pollutes, it is difficult to recycle. I think about the moment when I have to close some of these spaces and find room for everything. It seems to me a titanic undertaking that I didn’t think of while I was putting these places on their feet. Today I would like to live in a tent!

I think it’s…

in the substantial goodness of people. A goodness that is often hidden under layers of cynicism or indifference or, even worse, cruelty. But I think a part of us remains that innocent, free child who believed that the gift of life is the gift of happiness. That happy child, sooner or later, we should give space

Do you wish that…

The environment must be respected, the pollution reduced, that the spill over between man and animals no longer produces epidemics. Let the holes in our ecosystem be repaired. I hope that it is possible

The words that inspire you:

The trouble is that all words inspire me. I am sensitive to words like leaves in the wind.

Thank you
