Collage of proposals of knitted blankets with geometric patterns, made with light and warm natural fibers, in wool-cotton-cashmere, where the white color (extra fine merino carded wool) lights up with golden yellow and silver gray (cotton-cashmere) in a pleasant experimentation of pattern-colors-matter with the design and industrial realization and craftsmanship. Important note: customization!

The study and research in the choice of yarn are linked to the needs of the final success of the product. Versatile fibers for different solutions, pleasant and soft to the touch. I use yarn dyed, which is important for the solidity and purity of the color; neutral tones that are flanked by vibrant and bright shades. Even an accessory like the blanket becomes an important object, the pleasure of a product with an innovative design that gives a character of elegant simplicity with the desired importance to detail.

A taste of blankets in yellow in the neutrality of gray and white, a sartorial expression of elegant decor, with a ‘cocoon’ effect that animates the spaces… the body and mind feel the need to recharge, also looking for a blanket warmth and visual pleasure, rediscovering the value in accessory character!

With autumn, we need to feel the house as a flexible space to the change of season: the desire to look for moments to relax on a comfortable sofa and find yourself, in the company of a blanket…as pleasant moments in the armchair (reading + hot drink)… details dictated by small lifestyles.

Details with intriguing gold and silver grey stripes

Autumn atmosphere also in embroidery version… look!

Being among yellow-tinted tree-lined avenues or in the woods: seasonal appointment between sheets above the head and between the rustling of walking feet, almost like a session of chromotherapy: shades from yellow to red, from ochre to rust and purple. Strategic behaviour of mother nature, then waiting for winter. The foliage that appears and then disappears in its plant dynamism. I love these warm colors, light and scents, small fulfilling emotions…our hills in technicolor, the American ‘fall foliage’, the Canadian maple forests, the golden poplars of New England, the Japanese ‘momijiagari’ with the ‘red leaf hunt’ (secular ceremonial)

Autumn reminds us to let go… My favorite plant is the tree! Any type, but especially the oak (there are different types depending on the places) and the mountain fir. In this regard I was inspired by an article (by Nicoletta Cinotti).

‘Trees live longer than us, the reason? They can’t escape…they experience a type of adventure: finding light, continuing to grow despite the passing of years, to remain young in the offshoots of the branches and old in the strengthening of the trunk.  Above all they accept to be made of many parts: roots,  branches, many leaves. Trees are not an ‘I but an us’ and this makes them eternal in our eyes… Every day they lose some leaves, some branches in the more stormy days, they remain bare in winter, vulnerable in spring’.

Seeing the leaves fall tears me very much
especially the leaves of the avenues
especially if they are horse chestnuts
especially if children pass by
And I want you to know
especially if I had, that day,
good news
especially if the heart, that day,
doesn’t hurt
especially if I believe, that day,
You know I love you
especially if that day
I agree
with men and with myself.
Watching the leaves fall tears me inside
Especially the leaves of the avenues
Some horse chestnut paths.
